I'm finishing up my season of Wedding Photography in New Mexico this Fall and shot this lovely October wedding the Saturday before I moved across the country to Birmingham, Alabama. Kim and Chris were such a joy to be around all day long! They were so light hearted, and we all sighed with relief when the thunderstorms swept on past and not.a.thing was disturbed by weather on their big day. In fact, their day was without error! So many stunning details filled with memories and old photos, a sweet dedication to family members who had passed and could't make it to the union, an incredible venue with MY FAV: string lights, beautiful, hand-written vows and lots of celebrating with family and friends! 

I got the sweetest compliment from Kim, telling me how impressive it was that Chris actually said he enjoyed doing engagement photos!!! Such an accomplishment and a goal of mine every time I get a groom/groom-to-be in front of my lens! I want them to feel just a pretty as a bride, hahaha! And Chris had me giggling so much on their wedding day: "Make sure you get a lot of shots of me in this suit, I want my kids to know how hot I looked on my wedding day." And all of those comments complemented with Kim's eye-rolls = perfection. Did I mention they were a JOY! So fun, so genuine! Congrats to Kim and Chris!
