Cooper + Michael // Sentimental Huntsville Wedding

This day was FULL of emotions and smiles and tears! The warmth of family and close friends was evident in every detail and special moment of Cooper + Michael's wedding day.

Although I'm very far from familiar with their story, Cooper first came into contact with me a little less than a month before her wedding. They had quickly moved their wedding date to April 14th. Their reasoning, in Cooper's sweet words: "Over the last week we learned that my dad has late stage lung cancer with a poor prognosis. We both immediately knew that we wanted to have our wedding with him before any significant treatment begins. We want Dad to feel like the strong and vibrant man we love! So we are planning a small backyard wedding in just 3 weeks!"

I was blown away by the details and support so many vendors and friends brought together in such a timely fashion for the celebratory day; and I was more than honored to be a part of it. The special words that her father shared in a toast before dinner were so moving and overflowing with his love and gratitude for Cooper and Michael.

One of my goal's on April 14th was to give Cooper and Michael a sweet gift of the memories from this day, and hopefully a chuckle or two as they remember the torrential downpour that occurred in Huntsville that day.

Hope you'll enjoy this brief overview of their touching day.
